Desktop casing is made from cardboard?

Have you ever imagine if your Desktop casing is made from cardboard? Is it possible? YES, it is. You can see the picture below.

The fully functional PC houses all off-the-shelf components, including an Intel Core 2 Duo CPU, and 2GB of RAM. The designer, Brenden Macaluso, also mentioned that there's been some concern over the safety of using cardboard -- but his reasoning with regards to the materials is that cardboard is more heat-resistant than many plastics, with a much higher fire and ignition point -- 258°C and 427°C, respectively -- where plastics begin to melt at about 120°C. The designer also stressed that the material that Recompute is made out is just one facet of its sustainability: just as important in this design is the idea that less time, labor and parts go into the production of the unit, and that there will ultimately be far less to dispose of when the computer has reached the end of its life cycle.

Hidden function in your sony ericsson (The best way to check any sony ericsson mobile phone)

I've bought Sony Ericsson W660i last year. It has been near one year I have been using this phone. This is the best choice of hand phone that available at that time. With RM 450.00, you can get a 3g phone, 2.0 Megapixel camera, Quality audio(It is sony walkman), Mp3 and 512 Mb memory stick. It was the last year price. With 3g function, I also can use the Google maps function in my phone (I'm going to review it next time).

Last few days, I've discovered the hidden function in my sony ericsson. This function is also applicable with other sony ericsson model. This is the 7 step to see the hidden function in your sony ericsson:

1) Right
2) *
3) Left
4) Left
5) *
6) Left
7) *

After you have complete the step, the hidden function will appear. You will see 4 hidden function which is:
1) Service Info (model info, software info, sim lock, configuration)
2) Service Setting (USB charging function)
3) Service Tests (main display, LED/illumination, keyboard, speaker, earphone, microphone, vibrator, camera, video call camera, memory stick, fm radio, real time clock, total call time, security)
4) Text Labels

The 3rd function which is Service Test function enable you to check your sony ericsson mobile phone if there is any problem with it especially before you want to buy the 2nd hand mobile phone. This Youtube can explain to you clearly the steps.

I love Sony Ericsson.

Opera 10 with turbo

The new Opera 10.0 with turbo is available now. Opera Turbo uses compression technology that provides significant improvements in browsing speeds over limited-bandwidth connections, for example, when using a crowded Wi-Fi in a cafe or browsing through your mobile phone while commuting.

You can enable the turbo function by clicking on the icon at the bottom left on the Opera Browser. From what I experienced after using the turbo function, it is more faster surfing using it but the image quality that you get when you used the turbo function is reduced. For fast surfing experience, I recommended using Opera 10.0 with turbo function.

I also state in my previous post that opera has no private session function just like Firefox. Actually, Opera also has a similar function just like that. The function is "Delete Private Data".

In Firefox, you have to click the "private session" function you begin the private session where Firefox will not remember your username and password. On the other hand, you can delete your username and password information after private session by clicking on the "Delete private data" on Opera.

For the information on the other features in Opera, you can visit this page: http://www.opera.com/browser/features/

Try and Check it out...

Opera Internet Browser

What is internet browser? Internet browser is one of the internet application that enable us to view internet website. You should be clear that there are many internet application besides internet browser such as Chatting Application (Yahoo messenger, MSN messenger), File transfer protocol (ftp), Voice over Internet Phone (VoIP) and others. However, the internet application that is important to use the internet service is internet browser.

There are a lot of internet browser such as Internet explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. Internet browser that I usually used is Mozilla firefox. However, Opera is my second internet browser and sometimes I'm more comfortable using Opera than Mozilla Firefox.

There is three reasons why I used opera:

1) Speed Dial in Opera
This function made me easier to manage my website that i have to visit everyday. Just click at one of the box, then it will direct you to your desired website.

2) "Duplicate Tab" function
The duplicate tab enable me to duplicate the existing tab and the tab will have the same history as the original tab. I usually use this function when i'm online shopping or using the search engine.

3) View file transfer in another tab
Opera view the file transfer in another tab which is more easier and manageable compare to Mozilla Firefox which a pop-up windows will appear during the downloading task.

Opera also has widget that enable user to customize their browser (similar to "add-on" function in firefox). However, there is still one function is not available compared to the Mozilla Firefox which is "private browsing" function. Hope Opera will add this function for the next version. The latest release for Opera is "Opera 10.0 with turbo". It is totally free and you can download it in Opera official website: http://www.opera.com

Try it! You will love it...

P/s : I'm going to review the Opera 10.0 with turbo in my next post

Do you have a problem with your windows that suddenly show the Blue Screen?

Do you have a problem with your windows that suddenly show the Blue Screen? The Blue screen is called as Blue Screen of Death (also known as a stop error, BSoD, bluescreen, or Blue Screen of Doom) is a colloquialism used for the error screen displayed by some operating systems, most notably Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down to prevent damage. The example of BSoD is like below:

A Blue Screen of Death as seen in Win9x

A Blue Screen of Death as seen in XP, Vista, and 7

According to Microsoft, bluescreens on Windows9x systems are usually caused incompatible DLLs or bugs in the kernel of the operating system. They can also be caused by physical faults such as faulty memory, power supplies, overheating of computer components, or hardware running beyond its specification limits. What is the solution if you want to prevent the Blue Screen of Death appear on your computer?

You need to install this recommended software called BlueScreenView (BSV). BSV opens, displays, and interprets the data saved in minidump (*.dmp) files which are usually found in C:\Windows\Minidump after a BSOD. You must have Windows set to save a "small memory dump" which may be done in for My Computer\Properties\Advanced\Startup and Recovery\Settings in XP for instance. In XP, this is generally the default behavior.

This little utility has found a home in my toolkit. I don't see as many BSODs as I used to, but when I do, BlueScreenView makes it a snap to see the dump info. Stay stable, my friends.

Online Storage for you

I'm a student who has a lot of assignment and thesis to be completed. Of course we are going to use computer to complete all of the assignment and thesis. I wonder if anyone is still using typewriter nowadays to complete their work. The risk using computer is your file is infected with virus or corrupted. So, we need to backup our important work unless you are hardworking enough to start your work from zero.

What I did to backup my file is using the other storage other than the hard disk in my computer? Here is some suggestion:

1. Using thumdrive/flashdrive
It is really cheap nowadays, a few years back, my first 128 Mb thumbdrive cost me about RM98. Today, 2 Gb thumbdrive only cost you RM20.

2. Using DVD-R
You can store your file permanently up to 4.7Gb using one blank DVD-R.

3. Using e-mail storage
I have many email accounts and I always attach my important work to my another email.

4. Using Free Online Storage
There are many online storage available. One of them that I used is http://www.freedrive.com

You can get 1 Gb online storage using the freedrive.com. What makes me want to use freedrive.com is because it is user friendly and you can categorize your file to private, group or public. You can share your file is you save your file in group and public category.

I didn't update my blog for 2 month!!!

Sorry guys because I didn't update my blog for a long time. It is because I'm really really busy finishing my research proposal for my master project. I will try to update my blog everyday...

Nice arnold...

Arnold Schwarzenegger, one of my favorite celebrities, who now is governor in California is going to announce the "Great California Garage Sale". All goverment used item are going to be sell there with a great price. Actually, I think it was a great idea and if I'm there, I'm absolutely are going to support the garage sale. I hope Malaysia are going to take the same step to generate money for government and at the same time it can help to save the world.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is hoping that the "Great California Garage Sale" will turn government clutter like surplus prison uniforms and office furniture into cash to bulk up the state's depleted finances.

On offer as the state clears out clutter are nearly 600 state-owned vehicles and thousands of pieces of office furniture, computers, electronics, jewelry, pianos, even a surf board, a food saver and an Xbox 360 gaming system.

State officials estimate the giant two-day yard sale being held at a state warehouse will bring in hundreds of thousands of dollars. In addition to clearing out office products, the state is also selling unclaimed property from state parks and items confiscated by law enforcement, said California Department of General Services spokesman Eric Lamoureux. The prison department contributed dental chairs and surplus prison shirts and jeans.

"This is a win-win for the state and for shoppers," Schwarzenegger said in a statement Tuesday announcing that a selection of items also would be sold on eBay and Craigslist. "Together we are eliminating waste and providing great deals in this tough economy."

What are the different between virus, worms and trojan horse?

Virus, worms and trojan horse are a few example of malware. What is Malware? Malware is a portmanteau from the words malicious and software, is software designed to infiltrate or damage a computer system without the owner's informed consent.

Software is considered malware based on the perceived intent of the creator rather than any particular features. Malware includes computer viruses, worms, trojan horses, most rootkits, spyware, dishonest adware, crimeware and other malicious and unwanted software. Malware is not the same as defective software, that is, software which has a legitimate purpose but contains harmful bugs.

So, what is the different between virus, worms and trojan horse?

What Is a Virus?

A computer virus attaches itself to a program or file enabling it to spread from one computer to another, leaving infections as it travels. Like a human virus, a computer virus can range in severity: some may cause only mildly annoying effects while others can damage your hardware, software or files.

Almost all viruses are attached to an executable file, which means the virus may exist on your computer but it actually cannot infect your computer unless you run or open the malicious program. It is important to note that a virus cannot be spread without a human action, (such as running an infected program) to keep it going.

People continue the spread of a computer virus, mostly unknowingly, by sharing infecting files or sending e-mails with viruses as attachments in the e-mail.

What Is a Worm?

A worm is similar to a virus by design and is considered to be a sub-class of a virus. Worms spread from computer to computer, but unlike a virus, it has the capability to travel without any human action. A worm takes advantage of file or information transport features on your system, which is what allows it to travel unaided.

The biggest danger with a worm is its capability to replicate itself on your system, so rather than your computer sending out a single worm, it could send out hundreds or thousands of copies of itself, creating a huge devastating effect. One example would be for a worm to send a copy of itself to everyone listed in your e-mail address book. Then, the worm replicates and sends itself out to everyone listed in each of the receiver's address book, and the manifest continues on down the line.

Due to the copying nature of a worm and its capability to travel across networks the end result in most cases is that the worm consumes too much system memory (or network bandwidth), causing Web servers, network servers and individual computers to stop responding. In recent worm attacks such as the much-talked-about Blaster Worm, the worm has been designed to tunnel into your system and allow malicious users to control your computer remotely.

What Is a Trojan horse?

A Trojan Horse is full of as much trickery as the mythological Trojan Horse it was named after. The Trojan Horse, at first glance will appear to be useful software but will actually do damage once installed or run on your computer. Those on the receiving end of a Trojan Horse are usually tricked into opening them because they appear to be receiving legitimate software or files from a legitimate source. When a Trojan is activated on your computer, the results can vary. Some Trojans are designed to be more annoying than malicious (like changing your desktop, adding silly active desktop icons) or they can cause serious damage by deleting files and destroying information on your system. Trojans are also known to create a backdoor on your computer that gives malicious users access to your system, possibly allowing confidential or personal information to be compromised. Unlike viruses and worms, Trojans do not reproduce by infecting other files nor do they self-replicate.

Want a security for your folder?

Do you have some file that is secret and private such as your passwords, your private data and others? Of course you don't want anyone else know about it. I have a solution, i just download it and it is totally FREE. The software that can give a security for your file is called "Folder Access".

After you install this software, you have to transfer all your private file into a folder. Then operate the software by "right click" your mouse to the folder that you have created. The sofware will make the folder unaccessable. If you want to access the folder, you have to key in your password first by click to the software. Trust me, it is easy and your inforamtion will be keep safe in your computer. But remember!!! Don't forget your password to open the folder!!!

You can click here for more information about the software: http://www.topdownloads.net/software/view.php?id=156290

Flashy virus!!! How to remove it?

Oh no!!! My PC has been infected with virus. The warning appeared after I start my PC.

The virus came from my thumbdrive and the folder FLASHY and RECYCLER appear. I've click the folder and the virus attacked my system. So, if the folder FLASHY and RECYCLER appear on your thumbdrive, DON'T YOU EVER TRY TO CLICK IT!!!!

After that, I've search to the internet the solution for it. Other user also got infected from this virus and he is suffered from it.

There is a virus called "flashy.exe" spreading in my company . We can delete it with AVG and bitdefender. But for the most computers , we installed norton for centralized virus updates. Norton can't get rid of it and all are infected. That virus is always quick spreading from memory stick. On the infected memory stick, all real folders are hidden. It make all read folder to .exe with their respective folder names and all icons are like normal folder and there is another folder named flashy.exe which is the main virus.

Whenever we unconsciously doubleclick the memory stick, it starts loading flashy.exe from the root folder of memory stick(flash drive)and then it is in the running process on the task manager and got into the computer. Destructions on flash drive is all.

Since it got into the computer, the first thing it does is removing folder option from Tool menu. If it becomes worse, it remove or change bultin administrator password. If much worse, it disable run/regedit and taskmanager. I am sure it has some strains. Sometimes i found with the name flashybot.exe is running in the process. Sometimes flashy.exe.

I still can't get the main source of that virus.
It also wrote in registry. I saw many points for flashy.exe in registry.
but it is not over on the infected machine.
if we restarted PC, it shows again in the registry and Process tab of taskmanager.

what i mean is to remove flashy virus on memory stick is easy.
but to remove flashy permanently from a computer is really out of question now.
because of hidden folder options , lost admin pwd, no task manager, and no regedit.

I really want to get rid of that flashy virus.

I searched all norton, bitdefender, and avg websites. They still don't offer it. How can i get my solution?? how can my PC recover from that bleeping flashy virus? any body help me? It is out of question for me to install bitdefender on all over 100 pcs and update definitions daily alone.

help me with removal tool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks

still nobody can help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Want to see lyrics while listening to your music?

Have you ever wanted to read the lyrics of a song while you're listening to it?

I found this software online, it's called MiniLyrics. You just download it, install it, and it pops up whenever you listen to music.

No adware, spyware, or anything like that.

Minilyrics automatically will try to download the lyrics on the internet and you will have to choose the right lyrics for your song based on the artist and the name of the song.

A Pop-up windows will come out everytime you download the lyrics. If you don't want the pop-up to appear, you have to buy the minilyrics license. $19.95 for a user and $29.95 for 3 users license. Don't worry, you can use it for free as long as you like.

You also can contribute the lyrics for other user to download it. Now you can sing your favourite song with the lyrics. It's karaoke time.

Please go to http://www.crintsoft.com/mldl.htm to download a copy and try it out. You'll love it.

UTM menuju institusi penyelidikan

Source: http://utusan.com.my/utusan/info.asp?y=2009&dt=0408&pub=Utusan_Malaysia&sec=Rencana&pg=re_02.htm

Oleh MOHD. KHUZAIRI ISMAIL
rencana@utusan.com.my

How To Fake a Clean House

During this festive season, an old friend calls and says she's in the neighborhood and wants to drop by in 15 minutes. You look around and wonder how to get this mess clean in a matter of minutes. The following eight steps will help you fake a clean house. Start at the beginning and do as much as you have time for until your guests arrive.

Here's How:

Odor Control
Spray your favorite air freshener to remove any unpleasant odors. Pay special attention to the trash areas. Turn up the air conditioner, a fan, or open the windows to get stale air moving. Throw something sweet and tasty in the oven. Some women I know keep frozen cookie dough on hand for this very occasion. Not only will the house smell wonderful, but you'll have a tasty treat to serve your guests.

Freshen Yourself
In your clean bathroom mirror, examine yourself. The truth is that your guests will spend more time looking at you than at your house. If necessary, change clothes, run a brush through your hair, put on some deodorant and/or spray body splash.

Living Room
The place where you'll be sitting and visiting the most, needs the most attention. Since you've already removed the clutter, and made it smell nice, now all you have to focus on is tidying surfaces. Work quickly from left to right tidying each surface and removing any extra clutter. Quickly vacuum the main walkway of the floor.

Bathroom
Grab disinfecting wipes or a cleaning cloth and all-purpose spray. Wipe down all the surfaces quickly. Remove any clutter. Change the trash. Quickly wipe down the mirror. Make sure there is hand soap, a hand towel, and toilet paper accessible.

Entryway
The first thing that your guests will see is your entryway. Remove any clutter. Tidy up with a broom or handheld vacuum.

Dishes
If you have a few spare minutes, load those dirty dishes in the dishwasher, or rinse and stack them neatly in the sink. Take a cleaning wipe and wipe down the kitchen surfaces.

Other Areas
If you've finished all this and your guests still haven't arrived, keep doing small chores until they arrive, focusing only on rooms they will see. Some ideas might include, vacuuming floors, changing the kitchen trash, dusting ceiling fans, and straightening books and magazines.

Tips:
If guests are going to spend more time in another area of your home, substitute it for the living area, and focus your time there.
Disposable cleaning wipes make a good quick helper, but you can also use an all-purpose spray and a cleaning cloth.
Once you've finsished your quick cleaning, and your guests arrive, don't apologize for the state of your home. Guests come to see the host/hostess, not the house. Unexpected company, especially, will understand if everything isn't perfect.
Enlist the help of children and/or spouse to make the quick cleanup go even faster. One silly thing my family does is to have "practice" sessions when we aren't expecting anyone, to see if we can beat our best times.

What You Need:
Air freshener
Large basket or sack
Brush, body splash/deodorant, clean clothes
Handheld vacuum or broom
Cleaning wipes or all-purpose spray and cleaning cloths
Dishwasher or dishwashing supplies

Hydrogen powered motorcycle, H2 motive

Triple win for H2 Motive in South Africa

I'm really proud of my university.. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).. UTM has triple win in the South Africa Solar Challenge Competition for the new invention of Hydrogen powered motorcycle.. it is environmentally friendly as it uses no engine lubricant, does not emit any smoke or sound and it can act as a generator... It was a perfect invention for future vehicle.. congratulation UTM!!!

Source: http://web.utm.my/today/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=645&Itemid=2

A month after it was officially launched, H2 Motive, a Hydrogen powered motorcycle developed by a group of UTM researchers made history after winning three main prizes at the South Africa Solar Challenge Competition held on September 26th to October 8th.

The Vice Chancellor, Dato’ Prof. Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang said, the RM 1 Million worth motorcycle won first place for the Green Fleet category, Mountain Climbing category and a special award at that competition. He said that the vehicle which uses hydrogen as its energy source proved its amazing capability and durability during the whole competition. Its concept is environmentally friendly as it uses no engine lubricant, does not emit any smoke or sound and it can act as a generator.

The vehicle which took 3 years to be developed was a project by a group of researchers from the Business Advance Technology Centre (BATC), led by Prof. Dr. Hamdani Saidi. “What is more important is that the motorcycle had no problems enduring mountainous regions higher than Genting Highland,” he said in a press conference held here. The competition was participated by researchers from various institutions around the globe to display their latest inventions and discoveries. He added that the successes was a prove of the capability of UTM researchers are at par with researchers from developed countries.

According to him, the motorcycle can speed up to 110 kilometers per hour and can reach a distance of 500 KM for every gallon of hydrogen. In that competition, the motorcycle had to endure a 4, 175 kilometer journey starting from Pretoria through Cape Town and Durban before turning back to the starting point.

Office Boy Millionaire

Forwarded by a friend, via email.

A jobless man applied for the position of Office Boy at Microsoft.

The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a Test. “You are employed”, he said.

“Give me your e-mail address and I will send you the application to fill in, as well as the date when you may start.”

The man replied, “But I don’t have a computer, nor an email.”

“I’m sorry”, said the HR manager, “If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”

The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy 10Kg tomato crate. He then sold the tomatoes in a door-to-door round.

In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the operation three times, and returned home with $60. The man realized that he can survive by this way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late. Thus, his money doubled or tripled everyday.

Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, and then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles. 5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US . He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance. He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email.

The man replied, “I don’t have an email.”

The broker answered curiously, You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?!!”

The man thought for a while and replied, “Yes, I’d be an office boy at Microsoft!”

Blog can be sold $15 millions???

The World’s Most Expensive Blog

Today, i read an article about blogging.. and guess what.. i can't imagine that we can sell our blog.. this is a great news for nuffangers.. hope one us can sell our blog too..

For more information about bankaholic: http://www.bankaholic.com/

Source: http://skorcareer.com.my/blog

World’s most expensive blog sold at $15 million. Blogging, when done right can be a very profitable career. It gives you a healthy monthly income, and at one point, do not be surprised to know how much it can sell.

Last year, Bob from Malaysia sold his blog, BlogOhBlog that specializes in offering WordPress themes to Jai from India for US$10,000. All transactions are done online, and in the end Bob walked away $10,000 richer, while Jai continues to maintain the blog until today.

If that’s expensive, consider this - last week, Johns Wu, the founder of Bankaholic, a blog that talks about banking, finance and investment, sent a shockwave throughout the blogosphere after agreeing to sell his blog for US$15 million dollars to BankRate, a financial information portal. Johns, who wrote most of the blog articles himself has already received $12.5 million and will receive the remaining progressively until the full ownership transition completes. The $15 million dollar acquisition is by far the world’s most expensive blog sale ever.

Through blogging, Johns receives income from Google Adsense, advertisements and affiliate programs.

Amazingly enough, the blog is only over 2 years old, and the acquisition for the financial blog was made at the time when recession is looming across the US, Europe and Asia. And while intense debate is going to justify the price of the blog acquisition, Johns walks away as the clear winner with a historic blog sale.

Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong Secrets!!!

Preview of ‘My Story’
Written by Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong

I have read the preview of "My Story" written by Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong back from Popular bookstore, it only cost RM28.00 only, relatively cheap compared to other books I guess.

Do you know who is Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong? He was the founder of the Genting Group and one of the world’s richest men. He was ranked 204th on the Forbes 2007 list of billionaires worldwide and his life has always been seen as a classic “rags to riches” story.

This the preview from the book:

Parental Teachings in a traditional Chinese upbringing have taught me to be humble, polite and respectful to others. Those who know me know that I don’t put on airs. I can rub shoulders with tycoons and high officials; I can also get along fine with hawkers and manual workers.

When it comes to appointments, I have a habit of being punctual. Once I promise to meet someone, I always make it a point to arrive 10 minutes before the appointed time. To me, all appointments are important. I do not make excuses to cancel an appointment just because the other party is not an important person.

When I was young, I was shy, an introvert. By a kind twist of fate, just after leaving my native Anxi on a boat for Malaya the second time, I realized my handicap and made a conscious effort to overcome it. I reached out positively with friendliness and sincerity and won friends instantly. Since then, the same approach has never failed me in interacting with others.

I live a simple life with discipline. Habitually, I get up early but have no fixed time for going to bed. Sometimes, I stay up late going through documents or pondering some issues. Even in my sleep, I would wake up with some ideas and start making notes and drawing diagram.

I have a habit of carrying a piece of paper to record anything that comes to my mind. It also serves as my diary for appointments and things to do for the day. This way, I do not have to be reminded by others. Usually, on arrival at my office, I would take it out of my pocket and start assigning tasks orally or in writing. Upon completion of each task, I would strike it out one by one.

10 Great Malaysian Entrepreneurs

10 Great Malaysian Entrepreneurs
Author: Zul Name: Zulkifli Musa
Source: http://skorcareer.com.my/blog

1. Loh Boon Siew (Boon Siew Honda)
The entrepreneurship spirit showed by the Chinese immigrant was so classic that it granted him entry in the school’s curriculum. The late Boon Siew was the man responsible to start the dealership of Honda motorcycles in Penang, hence it does not come as a surprise when he was often referred as ‘Mr Honda’.
With virtually no education, he arrived in Penang at a tender age of 12, backed with little money, and a pinch of determination. Boon Siew started his job as a mechanic, before making his way to prominence with Honda dealership, and in the process, beat all odds.

2. Robert Kuok (Kuok Group)
When you combine good education and family’s wealth, then no hell will break loose. Banking on those two key strengths, Robert Kuok took over his father’s trading business, together with two brothers, and created a business larger than anyone can think of. The impact is so great that Kuok has been sitting on the top of Malaysia’s rich list for more than 5 years. Residing in Hong Kong, Kuok is mostly linked to a sugar business but also has his hands on other wide range of industries including hospitality, energy, logistic and manufacturing.

3. Tony Fernandes (Air Asia)
Tony Fernandes is the man behind AirAsia’s journey to world domination. With RM1, Tony bought a defunct carrier, along with over RM40 million in debts, and created Asia’s most successful budget airline company. From an ailing company deep in financial trouble, AirAsia went through a remarkable turnaround and made its first profit merely after 7 months of operation. From thereon, they never looked back and created records after records

4. Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary (MMC)
A humble entrepreneur, often shying away from publicity and media. Tan Sri Syed Mokhtar al-Bukhary is the richest Malay and bumiputra in Malaysia, and has continued to hold the status for a long time. In his childhood, he found difficulties to do school revision because of the inadequate house facilities and small space. But that did not stop him from achieving his current status. Syed Mokhtar is a great giver; his very first salary received during his youth was divided by 2 halves - one for him, and another for charity.

5. Lim Goh Tong (Genting)
Lim Goh Tong is another classic story of a rag-to-riches story. Just like Loh Boon Siew, Lim also migrated from the China mainland in his youth. And as fate would have it, the two later became friends when Lim was on his way to build Genting. From the day he was born until his death, Lim Goh Tong did not speak English - he only communicated in Chinese and Malay languages. But his language barrier did not prevent him from negotiating one of the largest contracts around.

6. Maznah Hamid (Securiforce)
When an almost bankrupt security company was offered to her, Maznah and her husband, who were eager to change their ordinary life, took the plunge and sacrificed RM5,000 of their saving. Only then she realized that apart from managing the operation, she also had to be a manager, a clerk, an accountant and an a receptionist. To grow their business, they had to sell their house and moved to a slum that came without electricity. But she perservered. Today, it’s difficult to find someone who has never heard of Securiforce.

7. Ananda Krishnan (Astro)
With an MBA qualification from Harvard University in America and a Degree from Melbourne University in Australia, it’s safe to say that Ananda Krishnan is the ’smartest’ entrepreneur in the list. With more than $7 billion of networth, only Robert Kuok is richer than him in this country. Ananda has a long list of business involvement, that includes Astro, Measat, Maxis, Aircel, TGV Cinemas and many others.

8. Azman Hashim (Ambank)
A horrible car accident almost wrecked his life, but Tan Sri Azman’s never-say-die attitude eventually rewarded him with larger than life achievements. With good academic background in accounting field, Azman was quick to maneuver his career along the corporate path, joining several established corporations in the process. Since acquiring Arab Malaysian Bank (now Ambank), Azman is credited for his effort to transform a relatively unkown bank into one of the largest financial institutions in the country.

9. Steven Sim (Secret Recipe)
A modern type entrepreneur, Dato’ Steven Sim established the popular Secret Recipe cafe and turned it into one of the most successful homegrown franchises. From merely 6 employees, the company has grown by leaps and bounds and is today backed by more than 300 staff nationwide and still growing. Secret Recipe today can be found in almost all major cities and towns, and is expanding beyond the international border with oversea operations in Singapore and Indonesia.

10. Mustapha Kamal (MK Land)
Tan Sri Datuk Mustapha Kamal is the co-founder of MK Land (an associate company of Emkay Group), which started as a small company and eventually grew to become one of the property icons in Malaysia. At the height of its prominence, the company was picked as one of the major developers of Cyberjaya, Malaysia’s very own cyber city. Among other successful developments carried out by MK Land are Bukit Merah Laketown, Damansara Perdana and Bukit Raya Beruntung.

How to using the blogspot template?

This is the first time I'm using the template for the blog. I've learned one or two things today about customizing the blog. From what I understand, there is 2 way to customizing the blog which is through the .html(old version) or .xml(new version).

The .html is the conventional ways to editing the blog. You have to know about the java script if you want to using the .html version. For me as the beginner, I prefer to use the .xml which is easier that the html. Just download the template and you can quickly change the template in your blogspot.

These are the website that helps me a lot to understanding how to use the blogspot template:
